It is with mixed emotions that I write my final blog. I am excited about new opportunities but sad that time constraints will not allow me to do everything I wish to do. I have had an amazing fall working as an intern in the NCSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Learning the ins and outs of professional social media from this unique perspective was invaluable and unforgettable.
Over break I was offered a new internship with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Firm in North Hills, Raleigh. Being an accounting major this was not an opportunity that I could pass up and am excited to be working more closely with material I am learning in class everyday.
None of this would have been possible without the help of NCSU’s Poole College of Management. The career development team, epack job site, as well as the graduate school staff have all been amazingly helpful and enthusiastic about furthering my goals and opening new doors for me.
My last piece of advice to readers is, after enrolling at NC State start getting involved with as many organizations as possible because not only will you find lifelong friends, you will find new learning and job opportunities around every corner.
